This solder wire is my favorite for flashlight and general small electronics work.  The 63/37 leaded mixture not only has the lowest melting point out of common solder (361F; 183C), it is also is eutectic, which significantly reduces cold solder joints due to movement during cooldown.  The 0.025" size allows for easy feed control when soldering smaller components.

The rosin-based RA flux wets rapidly and works great on all normal soldering surfaces, leaving behind a film that is both non-conductive and non-corrosive--conforming to J-STD-004 and J-STD-006.  In other words, the flux does not need to be cleaned off after soldering making cleaning optional.

Most common "pocket packs" of solder wire contain 0.6 oz. of solder.  0.6 oz.of this wire is approximately 25 feet of wire.
