Sold by the foot. This is "Lead-Free" solder. Please reference the SDS for safety and compositional information. For application information, please reference the TDS.
MG Chemical's Sn100e is among the newest and best technology available in lead-free soldering. Sn100e is a eutectic alloy, which allows for easier hand soldering than non-eutectic alloys. The tin/copper/cobalt alloy is filled with a no clean splatter-proof flux core, which meets J-STD-004B, ASTM B 32, and exceeds J-STD-006C specifications.
This wire was developed to provide superior wetting performance for hand soldering in the electronics industry. The 0.032" diameter makes controlling feed rate easy for most electronics work.
This wire has MG Chemical's no-clean flux inside, which is virtually non-splattering, spreads like rosin-activated flux, and has non-corrosive and non-conductive residues. This solder and flux combination is designed to wet and spread similar to 63/37 leaded solder. Halide free.
Most common "pocket packs" of solder wire contain 0.6 oz. of solder. 0.6 oz.of this wire is approximately 18 feet of wire.
