This host has nice matte black anodizing, square cut anodized threads on the switch side, and a highly polished smooth reflector. Just add a 20mm MCPCB with LED, 17mm driver, a bit of solder, and you'll be in business! The new integrated shelf makes it easy to swap out drivers with its threaded ring. The included screws can be used to hold the MCPCB tightly in place.
This host works with flat top, button top, unprotected, and some protected cells. The protected NCR18650B, NCR18650PF sold on this site will fit in the light. Some other protected variations of the same cells may not fit due to variances in protection circuits and wrapping. The NCR18650PF is the recommended protected cell.
Add an AR lens for an up to 5-10% gain in "out the front" lumens.
